Forbes reports on how Feeding America is seeking brand partnerships to help address the “explosion of hunger” Covid-19 lockdown is causing.
Their fantastic staff and volunteers have gone above and beyond the call of duty to help the many hundreds of thousands of people lining up outside their food banks, as the heartbreaking images from across the country have shown.
To give you an idea of how the scale of the problem has exploded: they anticipate the number of people in need of assistance will increase significantly, from 37 million Americans who were facing hunger before COVID-19 to potential 54 million by the end of September, projecting that gap to be a financial shortfall of approximately $1.4 billion to cover the first six months of our national response.
As part of their plan to scale up, Feeding America is looking for brand partnerships to help generate funds, in-kind donations and volunteering.
